Transmission
The 2.0 MPi engine is mated to a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) to further improve fuel efficiency, while the 1.6T-GDi engine is mated to the second generation 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission, which sees greater reliability and efficiency.

SAFETY HIGHILGHTS
Blind Spot Detection (BSD)
and Blind Spot Collision Avoidance*
The Blind Spot Detection system provides an audio-visual warning to alert the driver of vehicles in blind spots and the rear corners of the car.
A Kia first, the Blind Spot Collision Avoidance system uses Electronic Stability Control to activate brakes and help prevent or reduce the risk of collision with vehicles in the adjacent lane or coming from behind when the driver switches lane.
Available on GT-Line and Sport+ grades.
Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist (RCCA)*
The Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance (RCCA) system activates when reversing out of a parking spot or driveway.
The system warns the driver if it detects any incoming traffic in either direction behind the vehicle while the vehicle is reversing and also applies the brakes to help reduce the risk of collision.
Available on GT-Line and Sport+ grades.
Lane Following Assist (LFA) & Lane Keeping Assist (LKA)
Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) will sense if the car is drifting out of the lane, providing audio-visual alerts & haptic steering feedback to assist the driver to correct.
Lane Following Assist (LFA) will help the vehicle remain in the centre of the lane by continuously correcting the course of the vehicle when Cruise Control is activated.

Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB)
with Forward Collision Warning (FCWS)*
Using radar and camera data, the Seltos senses the potential for a collision with a pedestrian, car or cyclist ahead, and applies emergency braking to avoid or reduce the effects of a collision.

Safe Exit Alert*
